Burgundy, black and camel

All I want to wear this fall and winter to work are my camel blazer or burgundy blazer and grey pants. So here's the camel blazer again.

Blush and burgundy for work

I bought these pants last year and this top either last year or early this year. I spent most of last fall crushing on a blush top, but had to find one that would fit the bill for work. I specifically wanted to wear these two colors together, but I can't remember if I did or not after finally getting the pieces.

Out of the blue

Blazer- Forever 21  option
blouse- JCPenney  option  option
pants- Loft
shoes- Payless option      option  option
necklace- Loft  option  option

I rarely wear a shirt untucked to work but this tunic style top looks so much better untucked. I love the mix of burgundy and cobalt. This is an outfit I'd repeat again.

Are your holiday preparations coming along? We are about half way there! Don't forget to check out my gift guides if you need gift giving ideas.

Cookies are calling me and demanding to be decorated so I'm cutting this short. Have a great rest of the week.

The work version

Blazer- Gap  option  option
sweater- JCrew Factory  option  option  option
pants- JCPenney
shoes- DSW  option  option
bracelet- Jules Smith (Rocksboxoption  option  option
ring- House of Harlow (Rocksbox)

A while back I wore this sweater with burgundy jeans. This time I'm pairing it with office appropriate trousers and a blazer. I love a piece I can wear in more than one setting. I also love my Rocksbox pieces this month which include the bracelet and ring I'm wearing. The stylist knocked it out of the park this time. You can try Rocksbox for a month for free with code FONDABFF.

Long sweater vest

Hat- Old Navy  option  option  option
sweater vest - Nordstrom  option  option  option  option
necklace- Loft  option
bracelet- Alex and Ani  option

This blouse, sweater vest and the booties are some of my Nsale purchases. The blouse and vest are pretty much sold out now, but I've tried to find some similar items. I love the slight boho feel to this outfit. I think I'm going to be wearing this vest a lot during the fall and winter. We have mild winters so I can layer this and feel cozy vibes without being too warm. If you've been looking for a trendy item to add to your fall wardrobe, I'd recommend a long sweater vest.

Are you ready for tonight? We dress up and have other adults and kids who dress up in theme to hand out candy at our house. We are having an evil carnival theme this year. 50-100 kids and adults usually pass through our driveway each year, but who knows, maybe not this year. They have to walk through a clown's mouth to get in and some people are pretty scared of clowns. Ha!

Burgundy boots take two

Shirt- JCrew Factory  option  option
jeans- Loft
bracelet- Alex and Ani
leopard clutch- Nordstrom  option  option  option

Yes, I wore these booties two days in a row. I loved the results I got pairing them against the white and with this red plaid. I could make this a daily fall uniform if only I could wear this to work.

See four more ways to wear this plaid shirt HERE.

Speaking of work, I worked late and brought home more work to do so I'm cutting this post short. Thanks for following and I always appreciate your sweet comments.

How to wear potter's clay and burgundy

Remember my fall color series posts? You may be in love with some of these fall colors but wondering how to wear them. Many of these colors can be worn together just don't over do it.

Pumpkin spice and burgundy

FOREVER 21+ Floral Print Lace-Up Top • Forever 21 • $17.90
ABS by Allen Schwartz Hematite-Tone Burgundy Stone Drop Earrings • ABS by Allen Schwartz • $35
Nine West Metallic Tube Floppy Hat • Nine West • $39.99
Wit & Wisdom Button Front Denim Skirt (Nordstrom Exclusive) • $58
Steve Madden 'Palisade' Over the Knee Boot (Women) • Steve Madden • $179.95

Potter's clay (or pumpkin spice) works with rich shades of brown and blues. This outfit throws in some splashes of burgundy.

Pick a patterned item and you will probably find that you have a ready made color palette within that one item. Work with those colors for you other pieces or accessories.
