Plaid

Shirt- JCrew factory option  option  option
jeans- Loft
necklace- JCrew factory
worn Oct. 15, 2014

It finally cooled off last week after we came home from our trip, so I was able to wear jeans again and my new plaid shirt. I have four other plaid shirts, but they are all flannel and it's still too hot for that. I have been on the lookout for a plaid that is not flannel. I finally scooped this one up from JCrew Factory during a sale. Really, what do I buy that's not on sale? Very little of anything in the clothing and jewelry department. I will admit I did pay full price for these booties, but I had rewards certificates so my out of pocket expense was a whole $9. These booties have been all over blogland and I'm sure that over the years I will get my money's worth out of them, even at their full cost.

Summer in fall

Tee- Loft
shorts- Old Navy
shoes- Payless option
scarf- online boutique option  option
Worn Oct 9, 2014

I really hope this is the last of the summer outfits in fall. This was worn week before last when the temps were still in the high 80s. I tried to be more fall like with the scarf, but even it had to go by the afternoon.

I'm short on words because it has been a whirlwind since we came back from our trip. My husband had a medical test that didn't go well and resulted in a trip to the ER. The last four days have been stressful and I've been home with him. Needless, to say, the outfit worn to the ER didn't make photos and won't be published.

It's All Good

tee- JCrew
skirt- Old Navy option  option  option
sneakers- Macy's option  option
bracelet- Target option  option

I really wanted to wear a more fall like sweatshirt version of this outfit, but with temps in the high 80's last week, that wasn't an option. If you're stuck in the southern states like me, maybe this will be a little inspiration to you. If you have cooler temps, add a denim or moto jacket. I think either one would be cute. At least I can be grateful for the opportunity to wear this tee I picked up on clearance just before I did the 30x30 challenge.

Aztec track pants and utility vest

Vest- Khol's option option
tee- Belk's
pants-  Macy's (sold out)  option  option
shoes- Macy's option  option
necklace- gift option
bracelets- Target/ Banana Republic option option
worn Oct. 8, 2014 PM

We were back into a warming trend last week but it was decent enough Wednesday evening to add the utility vest as a layer. I think it helps make my track pants a little more fall like. This is an outfit that came together because I saw the vest and pants hanging on the clothes line drying together. Have you ever made an outfit from random pieces hanging on your line or lying in the laundery basket together? Maybe that would be a fun challenge sometime- just pull random pieces from the laundry that you didn't originally wear together and create an outfit.

Fall florals

pants- Gap
necklace- gift  option
bracelet-  Target/ Banana Republic  option  option
shoes- Belks similar
worn October 8, 2014

Hey ya'll! I skipped a couple of days because I was on a little vacation with the hubby for our anniversary. I'm picking up where I left off last week and have a couple more outfits to share, but I'll admit there were no outfit photos taken during vacation. When I unplug, I usually unplug from the whole routine. And besides that, we camped for two nights and then spent two nights in a hotel at another destination. All of our activities involved hiking and outdoor stuff, so it was tshirt and shorts the entire time. Yep, shorts. Where did fall go? It was so stinkin hot the entire time. Too hot for camping.

I picked up this blouse last year on clearance so it didn't get much wear, but I'm happy to put it into rotation this year. I wore it with navy last year, but this time, I'm pairing it with black and letting the little leather shoulder patches shine.

I also paired it with red last year:

A slight chill

Jacket- Old Navy similar  option
scarf- Old Navy option  option
tee- Belk's
skirt- Belks  option  option
shoes- Target  option

The temps actually dippped to low 50s last Sunday. The same day the high was in the 80s so the fall celebration was short lived. I got a bit tickled looking at all the ladies on the praise team at church in their tall boots. One of them was back to bare legs with a summer skirt and top for evening service. That's how fashion rolls in south Georgia.

I opted to celebrated the short lived cold snap by busting out a scarf and jacket. Layers that could be removed after lunch work best for me.

Graphic tee

Blazer- old option option
jeans- Loft
booties- Target   option   option  option
necklace- JCrew Factory  option
bracelet- Lulus  option
Worn Oct. 5, 2014

It took me long enough to get on board with the graphic tees but I'm here! I kept missing the ones I wanted on sale because they would sell out but I was able to snag a couple over the Labor Day weekend sales. It was killing me to wait until my 30x30 was over to wear them. And I love this outfit so much, I may just repeat this formula over and over until winter. Blazer+graphic tee+jeans+booties+statement necklace (if you want to dress it up) It's perfect for our warm fall weather, but still looks seasonally appropriate with the booties. And let me tell you how much I love these Loft jeans- most comfortable jeans I've ever worn. They stretch but still hug your body without ever getting baggy or saggy. LOVE them!
