I have typically worn this shirt with all navy in the past. I love how the white gives it a little more of a nautical vibe. Less of a bumblebee vibe. Even though it's navy/yellow, my boss always says it reminds him of a bumble bee when I wear this shirt. His poor wife- that man SO CANNOT give a compliment. But we get along well, and he is funny at times, so I don't take offense.

Have you met my boyfriends? My boyfriend jeans have been on the blog before, but I think this is the first time my boyfriend shorts have been here. I purchased them at the beginning of spring when Old Navy first released summer clothes and have worn them several times. I've worn them with gingham and with a chambray striped top. Those outfits just didn't make it into photos. This is a first with a tank top. Tanks tops are out of my comfort zone, but I do like halter tops when I go sleeveless.

 

Let's talk about espadrilles for a minute. I've never been drawn to them but these anchor prints won me over. I decided if I was going to invest in a pair, I'd get a little more mileage out these as flats as well. What type of shoe have you ignored and then finally been won over to?

Nothing new or earth shattering here. Black, white and coral. Polka dots. You've seen it all before. For a little contrast, I added my mint statement necklace.

I wanted a pair of floral pumps all last summer. I finally bit the bullet during a Payless sale this spring and purchased these. I got a compliment from a colleague on them. He said something about "happy feet". The irony is that the tendonitis in my left foot flared up shortly after wearing them and my feet still aren't happy. But my heart was, at least for a day.

Every now and them I break out of a rut and try something different. Like this headwrap/ headband. I love the look on others but I'm never quite sure of myself when I wear one. But one thing I'm sure of is white jeans. Every outfit combination I think of lately involves white jeans or white trousers for work. I've had to keep myself in check to keep from wearing them over and over.
